FULL GLAM MAKEUP FULL
But for the rest of us who love a full face of makeup but also want something slightly more toned down every now and then, allow me to introduce you to the subtler stepsister of full-glam makeup: soft glam makeup. Below, is a photo of my makeup a bit closer. There's a time and a place for cut-crease eyeshadow, a super-sculpted contour, and some bold red lipstick (and for some people, that time and place is always and forever-which, hey, can you teach me?!). So that’s how I did my makeup! I did attempt at false lashes but that failed horribly so we’ll pretend that never happened. The mist isn’t too heavy and it’s powers are unbelievably good!

I haven’t found another spray that’s even as close to this, I feel like it’s an unbeatable product. This is definitely a bonus because if I haven’t mentioned it enough previously, I have really oily skin! I really do recommend this setting spray. This really keeps my makeup locked in all night, and helps keep me matte. Now, to finish off the whole look, I set my makeup using the Urban Decay De-Slick All Nighter Setting Spray. I personally dislike clumpy mascara and prefer a wand that will separate my lashes while giving them a lot of extra length. Maybelline Lash Sensational helps me achieve this without making my lashes clump together. Honestly, I do believe it’s as amazing as I’m saying! Definitely worth every penny!Īfter curling my lashes, I layer on the mascara to make my lashes as long as possible. This does hold a special place in my heart it’s my first highlighter. I still haven’t hit pan! It gives a phenomenal glow and it’s definitely my most intense/pigmented highlighter. This used to be a cult on YouTube, so I purchased this quite some years back.
FULL GLAM MAKEUP SKIN
To finish off my cheeks, I add Mac Mineralize Skin Finish in the shade Soft and Gentle. I’m honestly in love with it! If I could recommend one product for you to ever buy, it’d be this one. My holy grail blush! You get a gorgeous pink that adds a flush of colour and sheen to your cheekbones. For blush, I used the Revolution blushing hearts in the shade candy queen of hearts. It’s the perfect shade for chiselling cheekbones or creating a bronze, sunkissed look. This is the only bronzer that I ever remember using. To finish my base, I contour using Hoola by Benefit. I don’t like my brows to look too unnatural, and the powder is dark enough for me anyway. While I wait for this to dry, I fill in my brows with Benefit Brow Zings.

I then spray some rose water to make sure that nothing looks too powdery or cakey. My eye bags are honestly beyond a joke! Once they’re hidden, I set everything with the Kiko Milano powder foundation. This is honestly one of my favourite powders as it adds extra coverage and smooths everything out. Simply because I feel it’s the only place where I need extra coverage. I only ever apply concealer under my eyes when I do my makeup. Maybelline fit me concealer is my go-to for under my eyes. Now I love the finish on this foundation! It looked too cakey but it seems now that it’s the peach fuzz that makes it seem so heavy. Recently, I began shaving the peach fuzz from my face and this applies like a dream now! If you haven’t read a post of mine before when I spoke about it, I simply said that I was let down by this foundation. Now this one is a shocker because I’ve said times and times again that I don’t get on with this foundation. Then, for foundation, I used Estée Lauder Double Wear. I was trying to match my eye makeup to the flowers on my dress and I actually think it worked! I use a matte pink shade in my crease then a pink pearl shade on my lid, topped with a glitter shade. If you don’t mind about colour correcting and want your foundation to look smooth then this is the primer for you.Īs I wait for the primer to sink in, I do my eye makeup, using the Huda New Nudes Palette. So, to start off, a primer, and I used the Maybelline colour correcting primer. This gives a nice finish but, I feel that they don’t deliver what they promise. If you’re interested about the products I used then read on! I’m actually really happy with how my makeup turned out. I’m seen wearing a floral dress from H&M in the photo below. The other night I had a presentation (doesn’t that scream for glam makeup routine?) for a course I recently took which I mention in my post about getting into med school with an ABB offer, which you can read here.įor the evening we had to ‘dress to impress’ and for me, that goes hand in hand with full glam makeup.
